These stories all contain some element of fantasy and folklore, but the things we always took to be the good guys, in this case angels, gods, even Santa Claus, show their darker sides....

Frank Giacoia, Gil Kane and Mike Sekowsky are are the artists credited with the artwork, although the latter two were "ghost artists". It is only suited for mature readers 18 years of age and older. I'm not the type of person to have issue with characters with faults or even intentionally unlikeable characters but the daughter in this book just comes across as a self centered idiot mixed in with an older person's cliched ideas of how teenagers think and the mother in the book comes across as an annoying uptight Type A workaholic.
