My children are 9 and 11 and absolutely loved this book - it isn't a book one would read to get a good grip on what happened that night in 1912 - I would say go to the multitude of other books out there for history lessons - this is more of a pop-up book which my kids thought was great they made the ship and there are a few facts but it is for kids - every fact in here is something most people already know.
